Privacy Policy

Effective 20 June 2026

DevoRadar ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

  • Account & business details — your name, email, business name, contact details and trade type.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not see or store your full card details; we receive only limited billing metadata (e.g. subscription status).
  • Usage data — how you use the Service (e.g. leads opened, filters and searches), and standard technical data such as device and log information.
  • Communications — messages you send us (e.g. via the contact form or support).

2. Planning & development data

The Service processes publicly available New South Wales planning and development records, which can include property/site addresses and details of an application. These are public records used under an applicable NSW Government data licence. We use them to generate and present leads. We do not compile private profiles of individuals from this data. 3. How we use your information

  • to provide, operate and improve the Service;
  • to create and manage your account and process payments;
  • to send service messages, lead alerts and (where you opt in) updates;
  • to respond to your enquiries and provide support;
  • to maintain security and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Disclosure

We disclose personal information only as needed to run the Service, including to:

  • service providers who host our infrastructure, process payments (Stripe), and deliver email;
  • professional advisers, or where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Overseas recipients

Some service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

6. Security & retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted transport and hashed passwords. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to operate the Service. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

8. Access, correction & complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
